Last Time?

I sit here at the airport going through my normal routine waiting for my flight to California. I'm looking around and relize that this will be my last time here for a while. As many of you know, I've resigned my position with my current employer and have decided to take a position with a company out of Canada. I will be traveling less and what travel I will do will be by truck.

Changing jobs and moving from what I love to do to something that I'm sure to love just as much, but the unknow is always challageing at best. I'm looking foward to being home with my DW and kids (chickens not included) and trying to become domesticated.

My flight calls...more soon.

I was just thinking about you last night and how you guys haven't said anything about the new job - and I wondered when you would be starting! Glad to see you finally updated. You both have been in my thoughts... with a big old smile for you!

You know you want the chickens, quit kidding yourself.

Embrace your inner chicken.

Hmmmm... How will you score frequent flyer miles now? I suppose Kel could go regional with composting, but you need a wider range. What about the oldest? I mean, she's getting to an age to get into the job market. It's never too soon to think about what you're going to do after junior high...

take care of the chickens - if I find them in butter and garlic sauce there will be hell to pay!

I prefer a more traditional dish of mushroms, onions, white wine; garlic is to strong for chicken.

Wild cow and Druish Deities

I have been blessed with being able to drive some of the most unbelievable roads ever paved. Last week I found myself on HWY 108 in Central California. 130 Miles 26% grade 9624 at the summit 4 hours to drive this route This photo is looking west just down from the summit. I could live here with the wild cows. A lone wild cow at the 9000 foot level just making sure that nobody is speeding along.

Madison, WI.

The whole theme today was a Woodchuck and his ale. I found a nice little place in downtown Madison, WI. called the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company. This was one of the best IPAs I've had east of the Rockies. Fun little place to go and the food was not to bad either. Traveling the Globe...ok, just the North American continent in search of the perfect pint on IPA. Hops, they are not just for breakfast anymore.
