Thursday is take you child to work day.

All this time I thought it was...put your child to work day....silly me!


You should have seen the look on the tween's faces when I told them...SO, you still have to do the chores.

Take to work, put to work, my father would not have seen the diference. Work builds character and character education is important.

I like the 'put your child to work day' better myself.

However; I had no idea today was that day. I think my husbands eyes would pop out if I sent any of the children with him to work.

These darned child labor laws prevent people from learning useful and salable skills! No wonder we have so much unemployment! Misguided social policy, that's what it is!

apparently the govenor has changed the day to May 22nd next year - the date currently wrecks havoc on the state testing window

Today was a good day..

I'm flying home today from Phoenix, AZ. First good thing: I was moved from my favorite seat in coach to a window seat in first class. Second thing: The guy sitting next to me did not want to talk and left me alone on the flight. Third thing: The flight was smooth and on time. Fourth thing: I'm walking out of the gate area at the airport when a TSA guy calls me over and ask me if I wanted an item, because if not he was going to throw it away. People ask why.

Start of the trip...Here I am looking at the West end start of the Columbia River Gorge. Great River, trees, great places to eat, and sun, for a Woodchuck whats not to like? All of the pink are Cherry tress in bloom. The work is never done. The office is where the cell phone is. PS. No delay on take off and the AC blows cold and I always have a 1st class ticket.
