No, even with a vette she would not have talked too me in High School. As a point the vette would have just made it worse. I was all about cars, football, and cheerleaders. Well, she would have looked at that as "three strikes, your out" type of thing.

I drove a 1982 Datsun 210 Sport until I went babysitting one night and returned to find a Cadillac in our driveway. My Dad had sold my car to use the money to put down a payment towards a new Cadillac for himself.

1965 Ford F-100 pick-up truck (in the mid 1970's.) It was quite hideous, faded to pink, three speed manual, the smallest 6 cylander that Ford made. It was followed by a series of Oldsmobiles, a VW Rabbit Diesel, LeCar, a couple of Toypta Corrolas, a Civic, a Mazda wagon, three Accords (all new and all bought within a four year period of time,) a Saturn, and soon to be followed by a ?????? (I think a Cadillac that is part of an estate, several years old with only 11,000 miles on it)

Favorite car, probably WH's little tyrant mobile.

Just for the record, I was not...NOT 16 in 1953. I was asked to leave High School...ok, graduated in 1982. Which was prior to Ms. Woodchuck matriculation

Dude, those are all so much cooler than my Chevy Cavalier that I drove to high school.

It was blue and sounded like a tin can when you slammed...I mean shut the door.

Come to think of it, I don't mean to be telling horror stories here, but one time I had a friend who had a woodchuck living under the hood of his car...I can't remember if the little guy was OK, but I think he did get injured somehow.

I really need to lay off the hard drugs...my mind is growing feeble.

I got the bus to school.

I got my first car (used, from my brother) when I was in my early 30's. It got stolen from outside our flat soon after. I got my second car (used, from Someone's brother) a few years later. We crashed it soon after.

We hire cars now.

There seems to be a general discussion running rampant around here about what type of car you should by a kid. And when said car should appear around the house. As I only have 4 years to pull this off, better start now. Things to consider before buying the car: 1. DD must complete 12 hours of flight time before taking test for permit. 2. Complete at least one driving school, Skip Barber , Bondurant Racing School , and so on. 3. DD must be able to change a tire, change the oil, do basic maintance on the car. When do you take a Vacation?

I don't really take vacations, instead I take a lot of small trips with my family. I put the two little rodents in the back and we drive and enjoy time with each other. Although no one in the family is a road warrior like me, they do enjoy the destinations. I have not taken any days off this year and will take my "Vacation time" in December and have fun with the rodents. I guess I will never understand someone who needs to leave the kids with the Grandparents and go away for two weeks to some place expensive for a break. I mean, shouldn't you home life and family be where you want to go when you need a break. However, I do understand that this does not apply to my MIL....not going there.....not going there........We teach our kids to live and breathe in this world, don't do that, don't do this. But, do we ever teach our kids to have fun. Does anyone ever say do this, do that, or run wild and have fun? Next time you are driving down the road and you pass one of...

Today was a good day..

I'm flying home today from Phoenix, AZ. First good thing: I was moved from my favorite seat in coach to a window seat in first class. Second thing: The guy sitting next to me did not want to talk and left me alone on the flight. Third thing: The flight was smooth and on time. Fourth thing: I'm walking out of the gate area at the airport when a TSA guy calls me over and ask me if I wanted an item, because if not he was going to throw it away. And you know it would be darn shame to throw out a nice bottle of...... Yes, that is correct, a nice 750ml bottle of Sauza Tres Generaciones 100% Puro De Agave Tequila. I'm now very...very ........tanked. Thank you TSA. I'm a 40% by volume Woodchuck.
