Wild cow and Druish Deities

I have been blessed with being able to drive some of the most unbelievable roads ever paved.

Last week I found myself on HWY 108 in Central California.

130 Miles

26% grade

9624 at the summit

4 hours to drive this route

This photo is looking west just down from the summit. I could live here with the wild cows.

A lone wild cow at the 9000 foot level just making sure that nobody is speeding along.

Wild cows, flying cows, when did we all get so bovine?

Given the pic, does this mean cows are now counted among "woodland creatures"???

Holy crap. I was wondering where she had gotten off to. Please send her back to Wisconsin.

Those dang "Happy Cows" from California are always luring my good heifers out there for a good time...

I vote to keep cows out of the "Woodland Creature" club. They really have no purpose other than to provide leather jackets and steaks. I don't mean to be prejudiced against cows, but they really taste good.

normal people do not add an additional 4 hour scenic "shortcut" onto an already 15 hour "commute" home ;/

Ah, but if he was normal . . .

Cute cow, wonderful places. Adding a little pleasure along the way makes working on the road so much more tolerable.

The belief that cows taste better than rodents is a concept some of us would very much like to continue to cultivate.

I like strawberry, but I have yet to see the elusive, magicial Pink "Stawberry Milk" cow. But I know she is out there, because one night after a few cocktails, I saw a pink elephant.

she's pictured over on Wicked Hamster's blog . . . udder-ly disgusting

How do you know it's a wild cow? Did he tell you he was wild?

(A buffalo talked to me in my dream last night... so, really talking cows aren't that far fetched either. Truly... if a woodchuck can talk, so can cows.)

Hey, Woodchucks can talk, we just can't dance.

I'm sure that it was a wild cow, he had that "hey, I'm a wild cow on a walk about" type of look in the eye.

Madison, WI.

The whole theme today was a Woodchuck and his ale. I found a nice little place in downtown Madison, WI. called the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company. This was one of the best IPAs I've had east of the Rockies. Fun little place to go and the food was not to bad either. Traveling the Globe...ok, just the North American continent in search of the perfect pint on IPA. Hops, they are not just for breakfast anymore.
