On the road again.

Leave on Wednesday for Spokane and Missoula.

Thursday on to Great Falls and Whitefish/Kalispell

Friday in Whitefish and Kalispell

Saturday in Kalispell and then a sort 9 hour drive home.

I think that I'm getting worn out just thinking about it.

I'd hide out in Kalispell until the garden tour was over if I were you...

Don't you ever go to Iowa?

Drive safe, it should be pretty out there at this time of the year.

I so want to see Iowa, I've never been to that part of the country.

"I so want to see Iowa, I've never been to that part of the country." Easy enough to get the feel. Make a pancake, paint it green, stare at it for hours on end without moving. Voila! Iowa! ;-)

(They don;t call me Wicked for nothing!)

Insult Iowa at your own risk, those Pork Queens can be brutal (even in a musuem in Athens.)

{glaring at WH} but you have your own name tag for the garden tour WC -

And I am ignoring the "short 9 hour drive home" comment - you know I HATE when you do that!

Hey! DG's the one that mentioned Pork Queens. (And did you know, the princesses in a Pork Queen's court are termed "Porkettes"? I lived in Minnesota for years and thus picked up much Iowa lore.)

The Porkettes...so not going there....

9 hour drive...well not really. I stop every 2-3 hours, so think of it as 3-4 little drives in a row.

Today was a good day..

I'm flying home today from Phoenix, AZ. First good thing: I was moved from my favorite seat in coach to a window seat in first class. Second thing: The guy sitting next to me did not want to talk and left me alone on the flight. Third thing: The flight was smooth and on time. Fourth thing: I'm walking out of the gate area at the airport when a TSA guy calls me over and ask me if I wanted an item, because if not he was going to throw it away. And you know it would be darn shame to throw out a nice bottle of...... Yes, that is correct, a nice 750ml bottle of Sauza Tres Generaciones 100% Puro De Agave Tequila. I'm now very...very ........tanked. Thank you TSA. I'm a 40% by volume Woodchuck.

snow...snow....snow

A free Herring or Walnut to who ever can guess my location.

People ask why.

Start of the trip...Here I am looking at the West end start of the Columbia River Gorge. Great River, trees, great places to eat, and sun, for a Woodchuck whats not to like? All of the pink are Cherry tress in bloom. The work is never done. The office is where the cell phone is. PS. No delay on take off and the AC blows cold and I always have a 1st class ticket.
