I'm so over snow..

The Snow can melt now....Anything more than a dusting and I'm up to my butt in snow and it does get cold.

So, here we are at the end of June and I'm still playing in the snow. The snow is still about 3-4' deep at the summit of HWY 410 in Washington.

Looking East from the summit.

Going up to the summit.

And one should always know where they have been.

And where they are going.

And thanks to HWY 123 being closed, I had a 150 mile detour instead of the 30 miles on HWY 123. Can someone say "CRAP"

Seriously? Snow in Washington at this time of year?

The view in the photos is fabulous. I say that as I look out my patio door and see corn. More corn. And... yep, more corn.

OK, seeing this while it's 100 degrees here just freaks me out. I don't know why. Maybe I need to cut back on the grad school classes and go to bed.

Yes, sleep is good. Just relax and close your eyes and dream of hot coffee cups jumping the fence.

Oh Shit!
Stay warm and rest. Call the nest and let the family know when you are behind schedule.

THE Woodchuck podcast LIVE!

http://www.thevap.com/ Episode 32: Get Hitched! It's a long podcast, I'm the last half of the podcast. This was taped after a 10 hour day at SEMA and sitting in a hotel room while on the phone. I then went to the airport to take a midnight flight home. So, will this make a diffenence in my job, will anyone care, or will it get me a pay raise??? NO. Today may be a great day to go back to being 10 years old where I had no stress.

So, what car would you buy your kid???

There seems to be a general discussion running rampant around here about what type of car you should by a kid. And when said car should appear around the house. As I only have 4 years to pull this off, better start now. Things to consider before buying the car: 1. DD must complete 12 hours of flight time before taking test for permit. 2. Complete at least one driving school, Skip Barber , Bondurant Racing School , and so on. 3. DD must be able to change a tire, change the oil, do basic maintance on the car. I would like them to be able to strip down an engine and do a rebuild , however that may be just to much at this point. 4.DD must understand that I will not under any circumstance have or allow a pink car to park in front of my house. Cars come in four colors only, Red, Blue, Black, and British Racing Green. 5. Just what is the perfect Horse power to weight ratio? 6. Only one passenger in the car at a time. This is a good argument for a older British sports car that only has two s...
