Calling on the Troops...

I wish there was a little stuffed Meritt to go with you and see all these fabulous sights. Sigh.

And then Squirrel wrote:

I vote we start traveling with a coffee bean in honor of Meritt. I vote for a Starbucks Christmas Blend bean or a Mexican Double Dark from Trader Joes. Either one will fit the profile perfectly.Or we can try and find a Martha Stewart doll?I'll leave it up to WC.

I'm in. Everyone start looking for one now and I'm thinking that after a year or so, we can send it to here with with pictures of where she has been.

I need help on this one. Everyone start looking today and please help me find what we need to cheer up Meritt.

I think you can find one of those California Raisin dolls on eBay, iron it out a little and put a wig one it . . .

Go to www.headbobble.com She can upload a picture of herself and have an actual Meritt bobblehead made.

Did some searching this morning, no luck so far, perhaps the custom bobblehead is a good idea. We could also call on the infamous Barbie collection.

Thinking Polly Pockets?

LOL at Polly Pockets... but I guess that would be a great idea as they are small and I'm sure one looks like me!

I smiled at the coffee bean idea. Do you know how many times you would LOSE ME!??? And of course you would just substitute a new little coffee bean and pretend I was never lost.

But really... in pictures... it would just look like I was a squirrel turd.

I've taken that situation into consideration.

I STILL believe that as a bean, you will lose me and replace me without telling me. Also - I swear I'm going to look like squirrel droppings in all the photos.

(or woodchuck droppings but I assumed those would be bigger than a bean. What do I know? I've never seen any!)

Today was a good day..

I'm flying home today from Phoenix, AZ. First good thing: I was moved from my favorite seat in coach to a window seat in first class. Second thing: The guy sitting next to me did not want to talk and left me alone on the flight. Third thing: The flight was smooth and on time. Fourth thing: I'm walking out of the gate area at the airport when a TSA guy calls me over and ask me if I wanted an item, because if not he was going to throw it away. And you know it would be darn shame to throw out a nice bottle of...... Yes, that is correct, a nice 750ml bottle of Sauza Tres Generaciones 100% Puro De Agave Tequila. I'm now very...very ........tanked. Thank you TSA. I'm a 40% by volume Woodchuck.

snow...snow....snow

A free Herring or Walnut to who ever can guess my location.

People ask why.

Start of the trip...Here I am looking at the West end start of the Columbia River Gorge. Great River, trees, great places to eat, and sun, for a Woodchuck whats not to like? All of the pink are Cherry tress in bloom. The work is never done. The office is where the cell phone is. PS. No delay on take off and the AC blows cold and I always have a 1st class ticket.
