What did you do today?

A Woodchuck and a Squirrel drove through this....

And this....

Please note the two...that's two snow plows..

And did I mention this????

I-84 was closed today and we had to find a new route around the accidents to reach our final destination. We had to slow down due to the cows on the road.

And last but not least.....

I see that you took our little talk about road and weather condition seriously after that little "major highway closed due to flood" incident

was it the "and I'll be watching the webcams this time" or that Squirrel was actually with you this time and there were witnesses . . .

It is so rare and so admirable to find someone with such dedication to one's work these days. You are a fine furry role model for the worker bees of the world. Neither, rain, nor, sleet, nor, snow, nor dark of night will sway these rodent's from their appointed rounds.

OMGosh... I swear to you I have photos that look almost exactly the same - that I took a couple days ago while driving to the mall and to deliver the ice lanterns and goody bag to my best friend. I have them saved on my computer for a blog post at some point about Iowa weather... and I just laughed out loud because it looks almost exactly like the first two you posted!

Wait till you see them - you'll laugh too. We are about 5 states apart, but looking at the same roads. LOL.

Ooooo! Pretty! (Meritt: You go through WAY too much to deliver ice lanterns and goody bags! At least the rodents get paid for it.)

I was never scared, well except for the cows in the road.

They looked hungry.

I still think that we should have gone cow tipping....

Today was a good day..

I'm flying home today from Phoenix, AZ. First good thing: I was moved from my favorite seat in coach to a window seat in first class. Second thing: The guy sitting next to me did not want to talk and left me alone on the flight. Third thing: The flight was smooth and on time. Fourth thing: I'm walking out of the gate area at the airport when a TSA guy calls me over and ask me if I wanted an item, because if not he was going to throw it away. And you know it would be darn shame to throw out a nice bottle of...... Yes, that is correct, a nice 750ml bottle of Sauza Tres Generaciones 100% Puro De Agave Tequila. I'm now very...very ........tanked. Thank you TSA. I'm a 40% by volume Woodchuck.

snow...snow....snow

A free Herring or Walnut to who ever can guess my location.

People ask why.

Start of the trip...Here I am looking at the West end start of the Columbia River Gorge. Great River, trees, great places to eat, and sun, for a Woodchuck whats not to like? All of the pink are Cherry tress in bloom. The work is never done. The office is where the cell phone is. PS. No delay on take off and the AC blows cold and I always have a 1st class ticket.
