World Domination Summit..Part two.

World Domination Summit..Part two.

Yes, once again the Hamster party has met and confirmed that the Northwest is secure and accounted for by WC and RS. MonkeyDragon was there to take notes and document the event....film at eleven....and rejoice with a nice Rogue Gin with a splash of soda water. WC went for the Rogue Rum, while Squirrel drank the Rogue 200 meter IPA with a I2PA chaser. TR drank a nice Juniper Pale Ale, also known as Yellow Snow Ale while the leader drank lemonade. The royal part did get to meet the next generation of the Hamster party members as both of my rodents and little Squirrel were there as well. Even the head of the Squirrel household was there to give us legal advise.

TR and WH are two of the nicest guys one could spend time with, charming and down right funny.

However, I will take the blame for not checking with the Tacoma Glass Museum to see if the the tour day was in fact the one day of the year when the museum is closed for it's big gala.

Awwww! You say the nicest things!!! We're flattered! Being with you and your'n was a delight for us as well. And the glass adventure was fun anyway, even if the museum was closed. It was good to get a look at Tacoma, which otherwise we would have never seen.

Not to be outdone, we sailed off to the art museum on Monday. Half way there, I mentioned to DG that museums are usually closed on Mondays... He said he said we'd give it a shot and then take it from there. Of course, we ended up in the Seattle Underground tour instead because the SAM is only open to members in the afternoons on Mondays.

So, what car would you buy your kid???

There seems to be a general discussion running rampant around here about what type of car you should by a kid. And when said car should appear around the house. As I only have 4 years to pull this off, better start now. Things to consider before buying the car: 1. DD must complete 12 hours of flight time before taking test for permit. 2. Complete at least one driving school, Skip Barber , Bondurant Racing School , and so on. 3. DD must be able to change a tire, change the oil, do basic maintance on the car. I would like them to be able to strip down an engine and do a rebuild , however that may be just to much at this point. 4.DD must understand that I will not under any circumstance have or allow a pink car to park in front of my house. Cars come in four colors only, Red, Blue, Black, and British Racing Green. 5. Just what is the perfect Horse power to weight ratio? 6. Only one passenger in the car at a time. This is a good argument for a older British sports car that only has two s...

When do you take a Vacation?

I don't really take vacations, instead I take a lot of small trips with my family. I put the two little rodents in the back and we drive and enjoy time with each other. Although no one in the family is a road warrior like me, they do enjoy the destinations. I have not taken any days off this year and will take my "Vacation time" in December and have fun with the rodents. I guess I will never understand someone who needs to leave the kids with the Grandparents and go away for two weeks to some place expensive for a break. I mean, shouldn't you home life and family be where you want to go when you need a break. However, I do understand that this does not apply to my MIL....not going there.....not going there........We teach our kids to live and breathe in this world, don't do that, don't do this. But, do we ever teach our kids to have fun. Does anyone ever say do this, do that, or run wild and have fun? Next time you are driving down the road and you pass one of...

Year end review

Another year comes to a close.  Fantastic year for baking. Ending the year with spiced squash muffins. The persimmon cookies were a surprise hit.  Had a minir issue with the amplifier. Apparently letting the magic smoke out is a bad thing.  Added a new ride for Kelly and a new ride for me on the back of her ride. The princess is still a princess. Small child number two is now married. I was able to  invoke the oldest childhood tradition of no give backs.  Still at Garmin and doing well. Great company to work for. 380 miles on the new bike. It's been a long time since I racked up that many miles.  Upstairs bathroom remodel is complete. Not to bad for a beginner.
