Goodwood...

Get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talking about the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Do people in Europe know just how lucky they are for being so close that they could actually go to this event?
I mean we have great car events here in the States, but this is Goodwood. You can actually see the 1958 DB1 that Sir S. Moss and Carol Shelby drove to victory. And even better, you could meet the man himself, Sir S. Moss that is.

Yes, I do love my British cars even with the problems that they have. Lucas, Prince of darkness, is very smart and did great things with electricity, however, when it came to cars most of the time things went dark.

Lola, Cooper, lotus, Jaguar, Bentley, RR, AC, Allard, Healy, and so many more. I should have been born in a hole in England.

If you live in England and do not attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed, I will hunt you down and take your........well something important I'm sure.

I wonder if I could mail myself?

Perhaps frequent flyer miles? Or let the little penguin fly you there?

I have heard the tales of Bert and Someone and automobiles. Electical issues are not the only problems that my ancestors can have with automobiles.

THE Woodchuck podcast LIVE!

http://www.thevap.com/ Episode 32: Get Hitched! It's a long podcast, I'm the last half of the podcast. This was taped after a 10 hour day at SEMA and sitting in a hotel room while on the phone. I then went to the airport to take a midnight flight home. So, will this make a diffenence in my job, will anyone care, or will it get me a pay raise??? NO. Today may be a great day to go back to being 10 years old where I had no stress.

Madison, WI.

The whole theme today was a Woodchuck and his ale. I found a nice little place in downtown Madison, WI. called the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company. This was one of the best IPAs I've had east of the Rockies. Fun little place to go and the food was not to bad either. Traveling the Globe...ok, just the North American continent in search of the perfect pint on IPA. Hops, they are not just for breakfast anymore.
